The wait was long, which I took as a good sign that everything was freshly prepared. My squid was tasty and came in a generous portion, but not as tender as the plaice. Next time, I'll stick to less common fish like plaice, skate, or rock salmon. We were less impressed with the thick, but not crispy, chips. The portions were huge. They have a half-price deal on the first of the month, all day.
