The Comedy Cafe in Shoreditch offers a vibrant space known more for its stand-up performances than its dining options. With high ceilings and communal tables, it creates a social atmosphere, though the food may not satisfy discerning palates. While some patrons enjoyed the comedy and friendly staff, experiences vary; issues with drink service and rude staff behavior marred others' visits. Despite the mixed reviews on customer service and food quality, the venue’s lively atmosphere and engaging comedy make it a recommended spot for those seeking a fun night out with a pinch of humor.

Was MRG1281 at Comedy Cafe a mag?
This was perhaps the most enjoyable night out I've had in a while. The food was delicious and uncomplicated, the comedy was top-notch, and the music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s added a fun touch to end the evening. I would highly recommend this place. View all feedback.

I had a great time at this restaurant for a good value. The show featured 3 comedians and a host, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely go again - it was a fantastic night out.

Its a giant room with high ceilings and wooden floors, it has a central bar and big tables all around, meant for sharing and socializing with other beer drinkers. When we visited the comedy was over, however there was an art installation on the lower ground floor and that was interesting to look at. Bar staff were friendly but do watch your drinks...they are so efficient that they take away your glasses even when you are not done!
The services was good but the food is not too good. I dont get used to take the flat beers. good place
Good comedy but I WOULDN’T go back ever again One of the staff members was rude and very mean. My colleague left her nearly full glass of cocktail at the bar table as she was watching the comedy, next moment she realised that the bartender had taken her glass away. She pointed it out to the bartender (a woman) and the bartender argued that that wasn’t the case. My colleague said it had about 70% cocktail left. She made another one (not in front of us so we can’t guarantee what and how much she added), she gave her the drink and to our surprise she charged 30% of the drink price. We were absolutely livid. Nevertheless, my colleague had her drink and soon after she felt very dizzy. We left the club and didn’t enjoy the rest of the evening.
