A friendly and cozy restaurant located in Dalston Junction! They serve incredible falafel wraps and super healthy smoothies that blew me away. The falafel itself is unique and delicious, very filling and made with fava beans so it is gluten and dairy free. They make everything fresh, so it tastes amazing without any discomfort. I highly recommend their banana, cashew nuts, date, and chai salad smoothie as well. It's great to know that dining out can be both healthy and nutritious!
This restaurant is a hidden gem with quirky decor, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. The owner, who is Egyptian, goes above and beyond to provide excellent service and offers a variety of homemade cakes and Egyptian specialties. The breakfast options are a refreshing change from the typical English breakfast, including dishes like fava beans and falafel. They have recently introduced weekend evening specials, featuring home-cooked dishes such as Persian chicken stew with butter rice. Overall, this charming and welcoming cafe is a local favorite and worth a visit, especially considering its convenient location near Dalston Junction. Don't miss out on this delightful dining experience.
Very pleasant, atmospheric small caffe on a quiet residential street corner, the Egyptian specialties and more traditional cafe tea like breakfast, roasted sandwiches cake. good coffee. shakshuka and falafel especially recommended. take away too. smart, but eclectic décor. also a few outside seats sit back from the road. recently (since juli 2014) under new management (previously known as eggs milk butter caffe, from the historical advertising tiles that are still present) closed on Mondays, I think will start soon evening.
