Went with some friends on Friday, had a whole range of sharing dishes but loads more to try, going back for a second fill this weekend to try out their Sunday roast, will report back!!
Seven of us ate at the restaurant. The place was only half full yet service was slow. Specialising in chicken rotisserie, the menu is basically cuts of chicken with a good selection of sides and sharing plates. Half of our table opted for the £17 2 course set menu, good value, the others ordered half chickens with sharing sides. A relatively simple order which the waitress managed to get wrong... and the service was terrible throughout. Drinks were forgotten, unordered drinks were brought, food was served at different times and at the end we were still missing half a chicken. To make up for it, the waitress gave us half a chicken on the house but when the bill came it was incorrect. When we politely pointed out the items we hadn't received they presented another incorrect bill the rude manager argued with us, walking off muttering obscenities under his breath. A horrible end to our meal. Food was tasty, but the service leaves a bad taste in your mouth!!!
This place is great in a great location with good average prices. BUT when it comes to service it's HORRIBLE. The staff know nothing about the menu, nothing about the food, and nothing about what a good service is! Please please teach your staff about good service, or at least how a good waitress should act. I've been here a few times and he staff are still... Useless.
Wondering around Shoreditch, I was sure I did not want a vietnamese.... and a new restaurant has popped up just after the bridge in Kingsland road. Bones .... What can it be... Chicken rotisserie and modern european menu, based on sharing food and social dining, with average prices. Nice!. The food is great, amazing organic wines and a FANTASTIC good service! At the end of the night, I planned my birthday 2 days after and I had a very good time under these warm lamps and semi industrial railway-arches.Thanks guysxx
This place is seriously good. I went with friends and we tried a whole range of dishes, nothing was short of delicious. I'm still dreaming of the chicken livers, the pigeon breast, the burrata, and the ceviche which has it's own unique twist, which I won't spoil for you. The ragu, oh god, the ragu!Bavette marinated and cooked to perfection, pork loin full of flavour, and salmon still moist but with crispy skin. All to die for. Then you get dessert and wish you had a second stomach. In a word Awesome. Go try, you will be delighted. Anyone who had a bad experience with the waiting staff was probably being rude as they were all great with us.
