I visited with my daughter tonight to order her cod and chips, as well as a small portion of kebab meat. I was surprised to be charged nearly £8 for the cod and £3 for the chips. There was no kebab menu with prices, and when I inquired, I was charged £5 for a small amount of kebab meat. I chose not to cause a scene as my daughter is autistic and I didn't want to upset her. Unfortunately, it seems this place has deteriorated into a poorly managed establishment with staff who take advantage of customers. I was thoroughly disappointed and will not be returning.

I or... read more I ordered a £6.50 meal deal at this restaurant. The meat was terrible, but I guess that was expected. The chips were either raw or only 30% cooked at best. I ordered a lemon Fanta, but was informed that only Pepsi or 7up were allowed with the meal deal. When I asked for salt and vinegar, the amount given was minuscule - just 20 grains of salt and 4 drops of vinegar. Overall, a disappointing dining experience.

We got the food and left and went to the convenience shop opposite, that’s when she noticed by using the change this fish shop gave us, that it wasn’t a real pound. My mums then returned back to the shop to tell them they’ve made a mistake and that she would like to change the pound. They made her wait for 20 minutes!!! For Them to check it on the cctv??? How does that make sense? How will that help ? They claimed they did not give it to her and that it wasn’t from this shop? THE ONLY CHANGE MY MUM HAD WAS THE CHANGE THEY GAVE HER!! Ridiculous customer service, made to feel soo low and liar!!!! It’s not even the money it’s the principle!! Instead of admitting their mistake and simply apologising then changing the coin they continued to deny it and be rude!!!!!!!!!! Disgusting!!! Made my mum late to work with all the stress she’s been through and the long hours she has put in being a nurse at a care home!!! ABSOLUTELY SICKENING!!!!
