Description

Hackney Bureau offers a cozy brunch experience with standout dishes like Eggs Benedict on fluffy muffins and delicious smashed avocado with feta. The inviting atmosphere is enhanced by an open kitchen and friendly service, although some patrons have noted inconsistent service and long wait times. Despite its charm, the cafe's cash-only policy and occasional rude staff leave a mixed impression. Desserts like cheesecake receive high praise, making it a culinary delight worth exploring. Overall, the restaurant promises memorable flavors, but guests should be prepared for potential service hiccups during busy periods.

Shockingly slow, rude and unpleasant. ordered a coffee and a soft drink that did not arrive after he had waited for over 20 minutes. had to go out. they still didn't care. wouldn't recommend anyone. They would certainly give one cursed if they also read this assessment.

Beautiful brunch, beautiful eier benedikt on a really soft and fluffy muffin. the place is a bit on the small side, but has a cozy mood on it. I also find the open kitchen to be a beautiful and honest note. friendly service and good price. the music builds a beautiful atmosphere. gutted, we couldn't try the dead, but the cheesecake. dear, great experience.

What should actually be a really sweeter place on a corner, the wonderful food served with a wonderful mood is actually quite the opposite. for starters do not take cards (the 2015 no cards take and this is not a warning. not unbelievable, but edible. what really brings this place down is the attitude. it is almost as if they force these people to take their order, they bring their food on time, and also make sure they are looked around. perhaps the worst service I have received from london. why work for a deconstructed east london caffe, if they don't want to be there, beyond that if they ask for the unexistent Wi-Fi and if they want to...read more

We also had a drink to accompany our meal – Campari for my friend and Aperol for me. The food arrived, and we were both very satisfied with our choices. I must admit, after trying Alison's dish, I felt like I had chosen a slightly inferior option. The fried eggs were perfectly cooked, oozing thick egg yolk over the creamy avocado, and the feta added a nice salty kick. My sandwich was also delicious, with generous portions of chicken and avocado held together by tasty sourdough. The harissa added a nice touch of spice. The portions were a bit on the small side, but they were perfect for a light lunch. Overall, this is a great little spot, and I look forward to coming back in the evening to try out some of their bistro dishes.

This restaurant is a solid choice for a meal. The vegetarian breakfast was a bit lacking in flavor, but overall it was enjoyable. The coffee was good and the service was excellent. The prices were typical for a brunch place, around £8 per dish.
