This charming little spot by the tracks offers pleasant and quick service. The food is decent but quite average. As for vegetarian options, I can't speak from personal experience since I'm not a vegetarian, but I know they have a variety of choices available. Unfortunately, this restaurant has changed quite a bit since my last visit. We were the only customers there, yet our food sat ignored for about five minutes before anyone acknowledged it. One waiter was preparing to clock out, and his behavior was quite unprofessional, as he was loudly singing and making inappropriate remarks. Despite being the sole diners, we did not receive the level of service we expected. I'm not very inclined to return.
I NEVER LEAVE A BAD REVIEW, BUT THIS PLACE WAS ****. Deserves no star .The waiter was nice (thats it).i should’ve known when they had bowls on the tables, catching the rainwater from the leaky ceiling but Ididn’t notice that until after I ordered. That aside, I could’ve ignored the dripping noises and the spatter sounds if the food was good, but they couldn’t even make sausage bacon and eggs Good. The time before I went in there the power went off and They couldn’t serve us because they had to wait the fire department.I grew up around here, and I’ve always known the Fairmount was low, but even for the Fairmount diner this was low..Make sure you have all your shots up-to-date before you go here.
