Food is expensive and always a disappointment. I tried so many things, kept giving them chances, but I did not come across one thing that was even average, not to mention good. They need to make their menu smaller and focus on improving the quality of what they offer.
Unfortunately, this restaurant has changed quite a bit since my last visit. We were the only customers there, yet our food sat ignored for about five minutes before anyone acknowledged it. One waiter was preparing to clock out, and his behavior was quite unprofessional, as he was loudly singing and making inappropriate remarks. Despite being the sole diners, we did not receive the level of service we expected. I'm not very inclined to return.
I NEVER LEAVE A BAD REVIEW, BUT THIS PLACE WAS ****. Deserves no star .The waiter was nice (thats it).i should’ve known when they had bowls on the tables, catching the rainwater from the leaky ceiling but Ididn’t notice that until after I ordered. That aside, I could’ve ignored the dripping noises and the spatter sounds if the food was good, but they couldn’t even make sausage bacon and eggs Good. The time before I went in there the power went off and They couldn’t serve us because they had to wait the fire department.I grew up around here, and I’ve always known the Fairmount was low, but even for the Fairmount diner this was low..Make sure you have all your shots up-to-date before you go here.
This charming little spot by the tracks offers pleasant and quick service. The food is decent but quite average. As for vegetarian options, I can't speak from personal experience since I'm not a vegetarian, but I know they have a variety of choices available. It's a family-friendly diner that caters to kids, and it features a cozy atmosphere that they might enjoy.
The quick delivery is a definite plus! However, the food is quite disappointing and not worth the price. Additionally, the coffee arrived with milk already added, despite not being requested that way. They also don’t offer sugar. It seems they prepare your coffee how they want it, rather than how you order it.
Tucked beside the tracks, this cozy family-friendly diner is known for generous breakfasts, reliable DoorDash orders and warm, attentive servers — moments of genuine charm that keep locals coming. Reviews are mixed: compliments for kid-focused service and quick takeout sit alongside complaints about inconsistent food quality, slow or inattentive staff, maintenance issues (leaks, power outages) and high prices. A tighter menu and steadier operations could lift its reputation.
