ordered two drinks a beer and a apple wine the beer was mentioned away to the staff not replaced my partner had steak and was happy with her meal I ordered the barra with creamy garlic sauce and fries the barra was a beer coaster size best was the sauce extremely watery and no garlic taste at all and made fries soggy and the garnel where they were leaving View all feedback.
What a fabulous venue. Lovely staff and delicious food. Typical Italian. Just what the doctor ordered. We started with a simple pizza to share of blue cheese, rocket, prosciutto and Parmesan and a glass of smooth merlot. Then moved onto a chicken Parma with spaghetti and a spaghetti and meatballs pasta. Yum, yum, yum. If we had the room we would have had the tirimisu and the doughnut with custard filling. But alas it will have to wait until next time. And let me tell you there will be a next time! Nice to see a family run restaurant with happy smiling faces on all the staff. Service was excellent. A+. WILL DINE AGAIN.
This quaint Italian restaurant although nice, is pretty standard fare when it comes to the Italian food dining scene in Perth. Pastas and gnocchi are made in house, serving sizes were enormous (literally enough for 2), starters are the usual offerings of calamari, carpaccio, arancini etc. Not an overly exciting menu and some dishes were a little hit and miss with flavour, but service was good, atmosphere was nice and overall a pleasant dining experience. Worth checking out when you're next in the mood for a solid plate of decent pasta.
What a wonderful hidden gem it turned out to be. I was really impressed with the quirky decor and the friendliness of the staff, then the absolute cleanliness of the whole place (believe me, I do inspect the 'loos' as well as the restaurant). Although not a large menu, we all found a dish that appealed to us...and they were perfection. The sauce on the Barramundi was to die for (if I was alone, I may have licked the plate). It was definitely worth the drive.
We have dined here many times over the years. The food is always excellently prepared and presented. Staff are welcoming, friendly and very accomodating.
Always bustling place on Guildford's cafe strip. Friendly service, seems family run. The food is fresh and wholesome without the reliance on creaminess for taste. Doesn't disappoint.
