What Brandy Connelly doesn't like about Guildford Milk Bar:
Typed in google for good coffee but some reason this place came up. Was very average coffee and the old trick of the large cup mage to look large by being slimmer and charged $5 for a coffee. Total rip off. There are places in perth that charge $3 and although hard to find they've done way better coffee in same size 'large' cup. Would need to be desperate to cone back here for Guilford as there are many good coffee... View all feedback.

Looks nice but can't write a review because they were closing at 4.30 pm on a beautiful winters afternoon when there were plenty of people still wandering around Guildford town. Guildford is a local & tourist hotspot so to shut up shop at 4.30 pm on a weekend is crazy!! Don't ever complain about the "quite" tourism industry in WA when you are part of the problem.
Ive been here multiple times now, most visits being great. Yesterday was no exception. I ordered the Vegetarian crossiant which wasnt too bad, with a Hash Brown on the side. I feel the price for Hash Brown ($2.50) you should at least get 2. But was still yum none the less. I also had 2 coffees over the morning, the first being a little bit burnt, and the second being perfect. The service here is always amazing, especially considering its always so packed! The wait for food is also very reasonable too.
Breakfast. Coffee was good and staff were friendly, but that's where it stopped. Scrambled eggs were a strange bright yellow and the same colour all the way through, which made me think they might be out of a box. Toast was definitely not sourdough and was almost biscuity in its dryness. Beans were out of a can, and hash brown out of a box. Tiny tables that don't fit 2 plates, 2 water glasses and 2 coffees. A serviceable breakfast, but I won't be bothering again.
Where to start, Jack the owner is delightful makes the best ******* coffee and ALWAYS remembers how you like it and remembers your name. Service is impeccable as is his impreasive elephant like memory! The rolls are great as are the pies and the chicken curry all served with a smile, also if you ask nicely they have secret chilli out the back to add to your dish!!
