ALWAYS USE DRIVE THRU.DRIVE THRU MUCH FASTER THESE DAYS THAN IN YEARS PAST. TO THE LADY THAT ALWAYS WORKS THE WINDOW DURING THE DAY. ONLY COMPLAINT IS NO LETTUCE AND TOMATO ANY

Don't know about the food or atmosphere. My first time to this restaurant and not a good one. Went to order a shake through the drive through. I had a simple request to add either chocolate or fudge sauce and was told they don't have any. So I asked if they had chocolate chips they could put on there. The woman taking my order didn't understand me. So I told her I would just come inside to order. I decided to leave instead if they can't understand a simple request then why go in.

Stopped by around 11 pm to get some food and had to place order with a kiosk which I don't perfer but is simple enough, but what I don't like is that they ask for tips on the kiosk (crazy). My food took a few minutes and they just set it on the counter and said this is yours. At least they could have said hello and thank you! Customer Service is mo more at this establishment! Better off driving around to drive thru

The Steak ‘n Shake experience has really diminished since the Pandemic. It used to be one of our favorite places to go.

Excellent food is awesome but personal service is wonderful. Our grandson was treated like royalty on his first outing with us there, he’ll never forget it!Kid-friendliness: Made his first outing special.
