Every visit here was a pleasure and a pleasure. The owner is one of the most beautiful and sweetest people I've ever met. The atmosphere is cold and quiet. The other girls are also friendly. 100% recommended. Your pizza is top notch.

Beautiful atmosphere, the place feels super cozy and secret. Many different types of seating: bar seating, high tables and regular tables. The selection of wine and beer is excellent. The pizza is so delicious! My party ordered a few different types and they were all so delicious! I recommend this place for a relaxed night.

Grinnell is so lucky to have Solera and Colleen. This place truly is a gem on the prairie. Colleen has the type of knowledge about wine you would expect from a master sommelier at an upscale metropolitan restaurant or winery, but she shares it with such friendly, down-to-earth charm that makes each interaction a joy. I have never entered Solera and not felt at home, and have never left without learning something new. Colleen’s honest passion for her store and customers keeps regulars coming back even without indoor dining and events, and Grinnell is truly blessed to have her. Solera’s COVID protocols are also great—masks are required at all times (and provided if you do not have one), there is hand sanitizer at the door, and surfaces and pens are wiped down after every use. If you’re in or near Grinnell, make sure to stop by Solera for unique wines and great conversation, and don’t forget to pick up her truly incredible homemade frozen pizzas while you’re there!

A gem! The wine choices are lovely. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Place was full of friendly regulars who welcomed us. We were in town for 2 days and went to Solera both nights. Loved it.
