Local food with a beautiful view. Off the beaten path but worth it. Service was great despite the language barrier. Regardless, the drinks and local Swiss food was a welcome treat. I recommend the side salad and rachette. It was a short walk from the hotel, would visit again. reservation recommended. View all feedback.
What Tabita Aritim doesn't like about Stallbeizli-heuboden:
Very cute establishment and location with a very beautiful landscape. As for food, we had a fondue for 29€/person, which comes to 58€ for 2! The sausage costs €9... I find the price exorbitant for the quantity that is served... As for the taste, it was very good. View all feedback.
Beautiful place with beautiful views. Friendly staff. Food (raclette) was also good. There are few parking spaces, but you can also park at a hay barn across the street.
Beautiful views and incredible selection of traditional food. Fondue was to die for.
Was at the train station and looking for something good to eat for lunch. Saw this spot has great ratings and decided to make the trek up the hill to the restaurant. It was about a 30 minute walk on a sunny warm day and halfway through I questioned how much the great reviews meant to me haha but I figured the exercise would be good before my meal. Definitely glad I stuck with it, the owner/staff were very accommodating and pleasant. I had the brat and green salad, probably the best I’ve had in this area. It was so good that I ended up ordering the same thing for takeaway to have for dinner later. Also: THE VIEW! sad I’m staying in Lauterbrunnen or I’d be here a lot more. Stop by and check it out!!!

On the path back to our chalet after skiing all day, we stopped in for a quick respite and were delighted! Glasses of local wine and beer paired with the local cheese hit the spot perfectly! The space is small, warm, and as authentic as it gets as it is housed in a former barn! The name means Hay floor ! We were so charmed, we came back the next evening for a Raclette dinner! Very traditional, very Swiss, very delicious! Melted local cheeses over potatoes steamed over fresh hay with every imaginable topping all created by you and your tablemates to your individual tastes? What 's not to love??? Finish it all of with a sip or two of Kirsch and the evening was complete! A true Swiss experience!
