WIr haben, wie gewünscht, einen Tisch am Fenster erhalten. Der Service war perfekt, das Menü außergewöhnlich und sehr lecker. Besonders gut war die Spargeltrilogie. Auch die Weinauswahl war nicht zu beanstanden. RUndum ein gelungener Abend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr freundliches und professionelles Servicepersonal. Vor allem auch zum Lunch zu empfehlen, wobei wir uns fragen, warum man es Business Lunch nennt, wo die meisten doch sicher hier Urlaub machen?

It has changed: now the price is 22 francs for the main course, and...you can add salad, soup, and dessert for an extra 5 francs each. But though the price has risen, so has the quantity of food in each course. The food is truly gourmet, and best of all are the surroundings. On lovely days we can eat on the shaded terrace in the garden with a fountain, and in the background a small barn with an almost live cow peeking out. In cold or inclement weather, the lunch is served in a cosy Swiss alcove. Friday is fish day, and we especially like the weeks when there is salmon. The menu changes daily and is listed on a blackboard at the entrance but we get it on line at the beginning of the week. We bring visitors here for lunch and they are always entranced. So if you want a treat in the middle of the day, walk down past all the cafes and restaurants on the main street and past the station, and to your right you will find the Schweitzerhof with its charming garden. And the two rather unwelcoming women are no longer there. Staff is excellent!

I gather that if in grindelwald, this should be one of the best choices for eating.
