Unfortunately I've been very disappointed each time... read more I'm working in the South of France this summer so have visited this bar 3 times within the past month or so. Unfortunately I've been very disappointed each time. The staff are rude, abrupt and do not know how to smile or speak to customers (apart from the English man who works in the evenings). The first time I took my parents and siblings, the staff literally ignored us as the bar and allowed local customers to push I'm and served them all first. It took over 30 minutes to get served, then after speaking to the English man he soon sorted us out. The food was expensive and tasteless, I can't believe I paid €11 for nachos. The second 2 times I went for breakfast which again was overpriced. The woman serving was extremely rude and blunt, she acted like serving us was unreasonable and hard work. The food was undercooked and all served at different times. I've tried this place numerous times as I want it to be a pleasurable experience as the menu is good, but ive been disappointed every time so will not return.

We always come to Munroes when we visit our place down the road.Since 2001 we have seen it change and now since the last owner took it over they had a major ren... read more We always come to Munroes when we visit our place down the road.Since 2001 we have seen it change and now since the last owner took it over they had a major renovation and its just fabulous.The staff are a mixture of French and English and have live music on Thursdays the menu is very comprehensive to fit with most peoples requirements and food is served at Lunch Dinner times .The staff we know are Zara and Natalie but there are there are others as well and bar staff the whole team are so so nice. The food is just great NEVER over the years had any reason to complain,July August you have to accept more waiting for food but thats life down here when it busy so relax and enjoy people watching ,Happy hour is from 7,30 well worth the getting there but for food YOU NEED TO BOOK A TABLE not to be disappointed and there is plenty of parking but late on it gets busy.The beach is a 5 minute walk away.
