South Of The Barber - Greymouth

Great place to stay! All are kept very clean and the rooms are on site. The kitchen is well equipped and clean, so far we have not met such a flawless kitchen in a hostel, they are in a league of their own. Good beer and a decent meal are only 500m away near the brewery. Victor was epic to help us out big screams, buddy!

We were here two nights and it was really cool. We travel around New Zealand and this place was the best we visited. Clean, kitchen is full of everything you need, and the rooms are cozy. Victor is a great host and he always smiles and chats. Thank you for everything and good luck. B.

I travel with my friend Trog New Zealand and we enjoyed our stay in Greymouth in this beautiful hostel absolutely. Victor and his wife (the owner of this beautiful place) are super nice, friendly and very well maintained. The hostel is very clean, clean and chilled. We felt welcome from the moment we came to the door. Rooms, kitchen, lobby and bathroom are well equipped and clean, the beds are comfortable. Wifi was good too. Supermarket and restaurant are a 5-minute walk away. We even had views from our room. No negative aspects I could even lead, even the price was more than fair. I recommend going here!

The South of the Barber is an amazing place to stay with fantastic shared kitchen dining area, plenty of space, fantastic historical interoir with space for your entire company. It has a magnificent view over Greymouth and is a walking distance from the city centre. The hosts are very friendly and friendly and cannot be wrong. I would strongly recommend staying in this historic place.

A very nice place to stay, the personel are amazing and they will do anything to make your day. We got recommended a nice walk and some cool sights. The rooms were clean and tidy and I really enjoyed how the hostel is very homely and cozy. It is more focused on relaxation compared to other hostels, so if you wanna party at the hostel, this might not be the place for you!
