What Kevin Boyce doesn't like about Sampan House:
The decor of the restaurant is just okay, but the food we ordered was very delicious. The fried rice was one of the best I've ever had. The service was great and we dined in for lunch. The price per person was around NZ$30-40. I highly recommend trying the fried rice dish. View all feedback.
The second worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. Wonton soup (at least a 6.5/10) was the only saving grace of this drab, depressing establishment. The decor, staff and lack of heating made this restaurant a real let-down. Satay was pure slop on a plate, tasted like it was out of a can and the meat was overly salty. Much better places to eat in Greymouth... unfortunately I had little other choice at the time. Service: Dine in
