I recently moved to the area and decided to visit this restaurant for lunch. It was a great choice! I ordered both the chicken curry and the beef and potato sambookis, and they were amazing—loaded with lots of filling. I will definitely return to try more dishes!
Absolutely amazing! Everything is made from scratch and incredibly fresh. The pita bread is affordable, the hummus is excellent, and the variety of dishes is impressive. It's a must-visit to try something new or enjoy a hearty, satisfying meal. Plus, the staff are really friendly and welcoming! You should definitely check this place out!
I found Selma's recently by mistake and I am SOOO EXCITED about it! We have been looking for a place closer to our house that has great Mediterranean food. I often crave stuffed grape leaves and used to go all the way to Portland to get them. Selma's is set up like a deli all the food is in cases and you can pick and choose what you want to build a plate, or you can buy by the pound, or you can order off their menu. They have a great gyro wrap and their falafel is amazing. I love that I can go in and just by 4 stuffed grape leaves if I want instead of purchasing a whole meal just to get them. The also have a huge bakery section with many delicious looking pastries. Like I said though this place is a deli so they are only open till 5 Monday through Friday and till 3pm on Saturday. Perfect for lunch.
Nestled in downtown Gresham, this family-owned Mediterranean deli offers an authentic, fresh-from-scratch menu that delights with flavorful dishes like stuffed grape leaves, hummus, gyros, and hearty sambookis. Customers rave about the exceptional coffee, especially the Turkish iced mocha and lattes, alongside a tempting bakery stocked with pastries and macaroons. Friendly staff enhance the welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for a casual lunch or exploring diverse flavors by the pound or from the menu. While seating is simple and parking limited, this vibrant spot is a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Mediterranean cuisine in a warm, community-focused setting.
