Michael was our server. He was outstanding in every way. I had liver and onions. My friend have a Reuben Burger no wonder they have been in business for almost 60 years. Heidi's is still tremendous. Heidi's of Gresham is an old family favorite with great breakfasts and pastries all made on sight. If you want cooking like your grandma used to make, this is where you find it. Their fresh fruit waffles are terrific every season...especially when Oregon berries are in season. We used to pick them all over that area.
I can 't give this place a score higher than I 'd give a Shari 's or Black Bear Dinner. It just wasn 't anything more than food . I 'm not even going to knock the fact our server forgot parts of both entree 's that were ordered. I did find the whole place fascinating. Gift shop, wait staff outfits, decor that screams 1982. If you 're in the area, sure, give it a try, but I can 't recommend making a special trip.
We stopped for breakfast on our way out of town. I'd never been here but my husband had eaten here in the past. We were seated order taken. There was a number of tables full already as it appeared to be a hang out spot for friends to catch up. Food arrived it was okay. We ate left.
