I attempted to pay with my card, but your internet was down, and the transaction wouldn't go through. The employee was quite rude, as if I was to blame, and just dismissed me to go get cash. It might be worthwhile to hire staff who have finished high school and to fix your internet issues. Not only will I not be returning, but now the food that was already prepared will go to waste. We've been visiting this restaurant for a while, and I've noticed a decline in quality recently. The main person who had just left was an excellent representative for the establishment. Additionally, the portion sizes have become inconsistent. Today, we were served less of the base for our bowl, along with fewer other ingredients, which resulted in a disappointing presentation.
Mahalo i? 'oe !! This poke joint is awesome the perfect lunch stop! I got a Medium BYOB, super yummy, a plentiful fresh and incredibly flavorsome feast. The menu is great and offers both cooked and raw proteins with some great mix ins. I had to doubledown on the smoked Squid, phenomenal.. Go chu Jang all day long, dig this Korean hot sauce it is dope! The dude who served uswas a real nice guy, very approachable making great recommendations and providing free samples to make it a great experience forus. The joint itself just needs to double take on the tunes and AC is a bit too crazy, but nonetheless, delicious poke! Supportlocal businesses!
The food quality at this restaurant is good, but it is a bit on the expensive side. For a similar or even slightly lower price, you can find tastier poke at Sea Sweets. Joy Poke serves good food, but Sea Sweets really stands out with a greater variety of bowls and delicious complimentary sauces like spicy mayo. Although I would consider ordering from Joy Poke again, it doesn't quite measure up. Nonetheless, I would still recommend it to friends and family!
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I opted for a small portion, which I found to be just right. I didn't want to order too much in case I didn't enjoy it. My total came to about $16, including the tip. I was really impressed with the freshness of the food and the service from the lady at the counter. Since I mentioned it was my first time, she kindly checked in with me about any extras I might want, which I appreciated. She was very friendly. I decided to add avocado for an extra $2, and it was definitely worth it—good quality and fresh. It served as a nice palate cleanser between the spicy mayo and chili paste. I can definitely see myself coming back here when I crave sushi but don’t want to splurge $50, because I really enjoyed this place.

The first time, a man served us and we shared a medium portion, which was just right for both of us. He truly made our meal special, and it was delicious. However, today a woman took our order, and we opted for the large size, but it actually seemed smaller than the medium we had previously. The first bowl had rice at the bottom, but this time the woman set it aside and gave us very little fish. I genuinely wish the business all the best and hope they can make some improvements.

This was my first time in and I got a small so I'm happy with the portion. I didn't want to get a ton in case I didn't like it.I spent about $16 with a tip.I'm super pleased with the freshness and the service of the lady at the counter. I liked this place the first time we went, but after going today we probably won’t be back. The first time we went, a guy served us and we shared a medium which was perfect for both of us. He hooked it up and it was pretty tasty. Today a lady served us, and we ordered the large which seemed to be smaller than the medium we had got before. The first bowl had rice on the bottom, but this time the lady had put it to the side barely gave us much fish. I wish this business the best, and hope they can improve.
Best poke in the area for sure. It is a little pricey, but that's seafood in general and you get a lot for what you pay. Lots of variety of options for protein and toppings
Good poke. nothing to write home about. it's good food in a pinch. honestly, i won't stop by again if i don't have to.
A young man came out right away to assist us! He was very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and generously portioned for the price. The place is very clean, and I’ll definitely be returning again and again!

Great place to grab a fresh poke bowl... if you don’t know what poke is then you’re in for a treat! Think of a deconstructed sushi roll in a bowl... the seafood is fresh and so are all of the toppings! Each order is custom made to what you want and like... Shop local and support this local business because it is an amazing locally owned business that cares for and supports the community that it is in.
High quality fresh options, the medium serving felt like a large, and it tasted spectacular. My tastebuds went somewhere new, no passport required.
I love this place! I probably eat here at least 2 times a week. You get a lot of food for the price. I have a hard time finishing the medium sized poke bowl and I can put down some food.
Great quality at a great price! They don't limit you with toppings, you could have all of them if you wanted. As far as build your own poke places in the Portland area go, this is my second favorite. I've been to 5+ in the area.
