Amazing coffee, pastries they bake themselves (great flavor and texture). Looks like they may be in the middle of redecorating, but lots of potential. Super friendly barista. Come here! Also gluten free options. View all feedback.
What Matt Oftedahl dislikes about Intent Coffee Roasters:
I had high hopes for this place after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews, but it fell short of my expectations. The food didn’t resemble anything shown in the reviews. It appeared that the place might have recently changed ownership, as the atmosphere and even the logos on the cups and sleeve wraps were different. The photos online and what is in this store are drastically different. Little to no food in the display, no monthly specials list, and was dirty. Gave a “going out of business soon” vibe.
My mom is in love with the coffee and fresh pastries, but it’s the breakfast burrito with homemade chorizo that has my heart! It last me almost 3 meals because it was so packed with deliciousness. I’m not usually a chorizo person, but this homemade stuff is in a class of its own! I had a ginormous iced green tea also, iced tea made fresh everyday! Also, the owner is an amazing human. This is a fantastic local coffee shop that everyone will enjoy:
We were staying at a nearby motel, and my only wish was for decent coffee in the morning. Tany's came through big-time! The cajeta churro latte may be the BEST latte I ever had! And the cinnamon roll cold brew (yeah, I got 2, don't judge me! Tasted like a cinnamon roll, not just cinnamon. I paired it with a fresh Mexican sugar cookie, but if you are in the mood for savory, the bagels looked excellent too. I wish we lived close enough to get this coffee all the time; but at least I got to try Tany's and pass along the 411 to anybody lucky enough to live in the Gresham area. Oh, and the owner/barista is so friendly!

Tany's in Gresham, Oregon, combines a cozy ambiance with exceptional coffee and tasty homemade pastries. Although some customers noted discrepancies between online images and available offerings, the warm service from the owner and baristas shines through. Highlights include a variety of unique coffee drinks, including the cajeta churro latte, and satisfying meals like the homemade chorizo burrito. Despite undergoing some renovations, Tany's showcases a welcoming atmosphere and promises delightful flavors, making it a cherished local spot worth visiting.
