Brumley's Lounge - Greeneville
Brumley's Lounge
Description
Brumley's at General Morgan Inn offers a mixed dining experience. While some diners appreciate the outstanding food quality, top-notch service, and charming ambiance, others have had disappointing encounters. Inconsistent food quality, poor service, and high prices raise concerns. Despite some glowing reviews, caution is advised when opting for steaks, butternut squash ravioli, or fixed menus during local events. However, the lovely house salad, tasty filet, garlic mashed potatoes, and red wine demi have received high praise. If in Greeneville, it's worth a visit for the overall dining experience, although reservations are recommended.

We went to celebrate Valentines Day. It was our first visit and definitely the last. The calamari was very tough. Several of the tables around us complained the whole time about the slow service and quality of their food. One of the managers was running around trying to please unhappy guest by comping certain items. The silverware was dirty and by the time I received a steak knife my steak was cold. Overall a big disappointment for special occasion. The only positive was the historical building.

We are so sad. We used to love going to Brumley's, especially for special occasions, but the food quality has become unacceptable. We went for Thanksgiving and couldn't believe how bad the food was. Somebody needs to do quality control. Maybe get a different chef? This will be our last time going to Brumley's. Even Valentines Day was disappointing because of the food. Very sad. Service: Dine in
