Can't beat that view! We've been here twice in 1 week! Delicious cocktails, yummy food & the best backdrop in the world. Fish tacos just melt in your mouth, Cuban Ruban (served in a cigar box) croquettes, chips with a twist - we might even make it there 3 times in a week! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Hacienda Cafe:
The food at this restaurant is unique, but the flavors are not very bold. I personally prefer other Latin American cuisines that I have tried. Many of the dishes heavily feature potato, egg, and rice, making the prices feel high for the portion sizes. I appreciate the decor of the space, which has clearly been transformed from a generic city cafe. View all feedback.
I must have driven past this place for years it was only because I booked a hotel across the road that i noticed it! My wife is of South American background so when we went in to this place her eyes lit up! They...had menu items and products to buy that reminded her of her home country and the quality and amount of food we got was very good. She rated it highly, as did I the tres leches' desert was absolutely amazing and we even returned the next day to get some empanadas for to eat on the drive home. If you like home cooked south american food this is a top location its not fancy, but just like you'd eat at the home!
This is by far the best Peruvian restaurant ive been in Australia (ive been at least to in different cities). Their lomo saltado, chicha morada, papa rellena, tres leches and seco a la norteña are like back home. Tacu tacu, causa and aji de...gallina very tasty as well. They have a pantry where they sell Peruvian products as well. Glads bottle inca kola and aji amarillo among the most important. Ingredients are fresh, staff is friendly, space/infrastructure is confortable and Aldo the owner always gives his best for you to feel welcome. It can get packed sometimes or they can run out of some dishes cause they have lots of customers all day long including a big percentage of Peruvians which speaks great of their flavours and sizes. If you are craving Peruvian food or if you want to introduce your Australian and foreign friends to Peruvian cuisine go La Hacienda and give them the closest experience as being eating back home. Soon they will have a license to sell pisco sours and chilcanos. Totally recommended! Well done Aldo and La Hacienda! Cant wait to go again next time Im in Sydney.

Good tasting food and friendly staff. Had a hotbird chicken burger with chips. The burger was nice with very soft bun and nicely grilled chicken piece. Chips were crispy
Definitely would go back again. The staff are super friendly. The food came out quickly and it is super yummy! Went with a Peruvian friend and she said it was authentic and delicious! I am going back again with my family. It’s good food and...I want to share it.
