Food was good, but the restaurant was absolutley filthy, rubbish between the bench chairs, chairs need a good scrub, un cleared tables and looks like the place was wiped down with a dirty cloth. The health inspector really needs to give this place a good go over!
I went through the drive through, and ordered a large family feast to take home for dinner for the me and the family. I live about an hour drive away, and I was really hanging for some good ole KFC. I ordered with out fries because the drive home is too far. When I placed the order I asked if I could get all thigh, and that I was happy to pay extra, and the young man on the intercom told me that would be fine. I paid for our dinner and pulled to next window to wait for food. When the food was given to me, I could smell chips , so I got the girl at the window's attention . She didn't seem pleased about having to swap the sides, but she did do it as there started to be a line of cars behind me. When I got home, I was so ready to eat, well, I should have checked the chicken as well, only 1 thigh in the box out of 18. I was so disappointed that I rang them up( which I never do). I spoke to the manager, and she was quite rude and told me they don't do large packs of one type of chicken. Wow, I have had KFC on 3 different continents and never had this problem before. Considering you can buy thigh only if you pay by the piece. Anyway, she told me if I wanted to return the food I could bring it back. After I told her I lived an hour drive away, she reluctantly said she would replace my meal when I came in next time. She took my name. I went back a week later, asked to speak to the manager, and the person at the counter was offended that I had asked to speak to his boss . The manager came to the counter , I told her my name, she said she remembered our phone conversation , then told me she would be back. She came back with a box of chicken, no sides, no drink, and no apologies . I looked in the box, and again, not all thigh, I asked her what's going on here, she said," I told you before we don't do all thigh, so do you want your free food or what?" WOW! I tell you what, the franchise owner should be ashamed of him or her self for employing this type of staff and management . When I started to write this review, I read other ones. WOW again! I will let the other readers be the judge. Shame, shame, shame!
