Travelling through Shepparton in Victoria and this restaurant came highly recommended by the hosts of my accommodation. The restaurant is small and neat, and is run by a team of welcoming, friendly people. The food was extraordinary – I highly recommend the vegetable samosas as an entrée – the spices are exquisite. What User doesn't like about Desi Tandoori Bite:
Our initial impressions were dismal. The windows are blocked out from the street so we couldn’t see in. No wonder. The interior was horrible. I don’t know where the tablecloths from the photos had gone but they were nowhere in sight. Yet we had been salivating at the prospect of tandoori chicken, so we decided to get take away. Simple, delicious authentic Indian cuisine that is lovingly prepared by a local family. great prices, child-friendly and great service. eat them on a table simply set or take away. the tandoori huh is excellent.
Eating was great spent under $20 and had enough food for two people not going hungry had garlic naan brot with sweet samosa and huhn tika
My husband works in Shepparton and discovered this gem of a restaurant- often ordering us takeout. The most recent, and PERFECT, lamb roganjosh with saffron rice was unforgettable. Friendly sevice, reasonable prices, and aromatic flavor with generous meaty pieces; Highly recommended if you are a curry connoisseur

Since the change of ownership the food has improved substantially. The last three takeaway meals I’ve had were very good. Definitely the best curry restaurant in Shepparton.
