We wish we liked this cocktail bar more than we do. Very fine drinks, good location, excellent nibbles but somehow there's a mismatch between the setting and the experience. It aims to be metropolitan in a town that just reaches the status of a small city. The prices are high but not as high as the pretension. View all feedback.
What Speed doesn't like about Mooncloud:
We love the creative drinks and local spirit; however the hostess has an uppity attitude and is very reactive. She had something to say about us not crowding the pick-up area at the bar last time and seemed put off by us not wanting water this time. “It’s how we do things.” We walked out. Went a couple months ago and still thinking about how good the drinks were: looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the creative menu.
Such an inviting, feminine, intimate spot. Very low key and casual but still very high end. Craft cocktails are creative, skillfully prepared, and beautifully presented. The Meteor Shower is well balanced and refreshing—the best gin cocktail I’ve ever had. I’m not a mezcal person, but my friend who is loves the Fuego en la Montaña. The mixologist/owner here is top tier. The boards are so well put together and everything was flavorful and fresh. The art/decor and overall aesthetic of the space are just beautiful. Great ambiance. Great service, very adept at recognizing when to interject around conversation. Some places hover too much or are inattentive. Bathroom was clean (and very cute), not a frequent sight at bars around here. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
This is the place to be it seems when you are out in the woods. Great cocktails and ambience, with DJ when we were there. Closest a bit early…
Ok, seriously now coolest place! We just found it online and well... let's do this! staff AMAZING! So friendly, laid back yet professional! drinks such a creative imaginative cocktail list as well as impressive beer wine list food beautiful charcuterie other bar snacks!Really interesting place. It's small, but they are killing it you wouldn't believe what they are able to do within these 4 walls! Plus, very cool vibe. Go there, you'll be glad you did.
