Great pulled pork, great smells! Variety of drinks on the menu. Busy, with The Blues playing in the background. Medium noise level, could still hear each other talk. Pulled pork slider with cole slow on the bun and the Rattlesnake Fries were delish!
Stopped in on a Monday night and they were fairly busy. We waited to be seated all of about 2 minutes and the hostess was very nice. Our waiter Derrick came over within a couple minutes to tell us that he will be right with us he wasn't lying. About 5minutes later he was at our table explaining everything and was very very nice helpful! AAA . Food was fast and delicious!Derrick was Awesome! Definitely will be back when ever we are back in the area! Great job Ray's keep it up!
This place has a great ambiance. The food will absolutely not disappoint! We enjoyed everything we ordered. The pulled pork had an excellent flavor and there were a variety of sauces tableside to try with it. We sat inside, but the creek added charm, evenfrom afar. The service was friendly and fast. The wait staff was pulling double duty as hostess as well, but they never missed abeat.
Super cute place, excellent food, good size portions. Everything we tried was delicious. Beautiful view of river. A+
This place had a down home barbecue taste with a hip and fun vibe. Our server was on it and so friendly. I noticed all the other servers were kind and attentive. I tried the Beast sandwich and the Sweet Creeper Chili. It was amazing! Nice heat on the chiliand flavor was bold. The brisket was perfectly smoked and flavorful. I'll come back when I'm in the area next.

Best BBQ I've ever had! Tried the pulled pork and smoked chicken and it was delicious! Great view of the river in out back. Service was prompt and friendly and facilities were clean.
The majority of us had ribs that were very even without sauce the shredded chicken sandwich that she thoroughly enjoyed also although they forgot the dressing on it. Staff was great although she was embarrassed because we returned the white Russian cocktail to her because they used spoiled cream that curdled and because they were out of the appetizer we ordered (pork rhines). All in all it was a good dining experience. I will add we dined inside to avoid bugs around the river while we ate. Didn't matter because the patio door was open the whole while we were there, so we kept having to shue flies!
This place is fantastic! The meat was so tender that it practically fell off the bone. I enjoyed a local craft beer from Cheboygan, which was a nice touch. Plus, we were seated right by the river. I've been visiting Higgins for 45 years, and this was my first time here—what a hidden gem!
The food was quite tasty, though not quite five-star quality. The service was good, and the location is fantastic, right by the river.
We ordered the mishmash. I give a ten to the pulled pork, the mashed potatoes, the baked beans and the cornbread! I give a 10 to that awesome white chocolate lemon cheesecake! Service was great. They were quick and friendly and kept the lemonade coming!

Great food great service, awesome view sitting outside. If your in or around grayling definitely check this place out
The absolute best ribs brisket with or without sauce! The cole slaw bbq beans were fantastic! Mac cheese not so much! Will for sure be back!
It was a great experience, I took my family there we enjoy the place it was beautiful inside, service was good. Food and Craft Beer was Great overall great experience. Would suggest this place to anyone of my friends or family visiting Grayling, Michigan. Right on the River.

The ambiance was delightful, especially on the riverside patio. The food was prepared and served with care, and the beer selection was extensive. I give Ray's five stars!
