The Cajun style food was beautifully presented, delicious, and creative. The charming environment and friendly (and fascinating!) owner made the experience even more enjoyable. It's definitely worth the trip, and they even deliver to St. John's. I returned for a weekend getaway and stayed at their comfortable accommodation. We also tried the seaweed bath and zodiac tours they organized, which were a lot of fun. It truly felt like being part of a family!

The menu is creative, with dishes like Seafood Étouffée and Dirty Rice that impressed us. Dining with a stunning view of the bay while hearing about the owners' background was truly a unique experience. The Open Studio is a foodie's paradise. Don't miss it.

Beautifully presented tasty and creative Cajun style food in a charming setting and served by the friendly (and fascinating! proprietor. Definitely worth making thetrip and they deliver to St John's too. We had everything we needed at the house, our view was spectacular, and the restaurant was sooo delicious!!! Wewill most definitely be returning one day!! The menu is innovative, and the Seafood Étouffée and Dirty Rice checked all the boxes for us. Dining with anamazing view of the bay while learning about the area from the owners was certainly special. Open Studio is a culinary delight.Go there.

We reserved 2 months ago and when we arrived we were told that they had set a table in the basement for us because they had booked a cooking class in the main restaurant. We felt totally mistreated and made it clear to them thatthis was how we felt. They were completely indifferent to our position . We will never go back to this restaurant. This is theonly negative experience we have had while travelling in Newfoundland this past three weeks.
