Service was bad, food wa... read more Man I wanted to like this place for a casual evening with good for and drinks. We went this past Sunday for Brunch and it was just bad. Service was bad, food was bad the vibe was one of frantic desperation. It's a great place on a fall or spring evening to have drinks but understand the severe is weak and the food is below average.

Maybe it was an off day, as this place was chosen simply for its previous reviews. Nevertheless, we were the only ones there and it took over 40 minutes to get the chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits food items. The chicken was over cooked and had a slight burnt taste. We discovered from the sweet waitress that it took so long due to the waffle maker not working properly. What?! Ok, on the the shrimp and grits, I ended up asking for butter and sugar for them as they had no flavor. Eventually sent them back and just got oatmeal. I mean, you can't go wrong with that, right?! Well we ended up leaving and unfortunately won't return, but hey it's on a golf course and the atmosphere was amazing so 2 stars for that alone.

My mom recommended it because she lives close by and loves it. We all loved the charcuterie board. Don't mind that picture of the charcuterie board because we ate more than half off it before I thought about taking the photo! Oh yeah, that hummus is crazy good. We all agree. Very pretty looking course as well. Hopefully, next time, I'll hit a bucket of balls. My mom highly recommends the bread pudding. ?Kid-friendliness: High chairs and everybody loved seeing the baby. ?
