I was able to make a reservation in a very quick and timely fashion. I was also able to adjust my time that worked best for our group. This was my first time eating at Tolbert’s. Great food!! Great atmosphere and the service was superb yet quick! Thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend and will return! View all feedback.
Delicious! we were in the city and wanted to try a highly rated esserei, tolbert looked like it could fit the bill, and that did it definitiw! we sat right away and drinks were taken out immediately. our server was amazing. I ordered the fried chicken sleds with fries. hubby ordered the chili tacos from which he lets me bite, yes? my slider were much better than I expected, chicken bread was cooked to perfection. I almost decided out of the chipotle mayo, but I am so glad that I didn't, it had a hearty taste with just one kick seasoned. I loved it! I recommend you try
Tolbert was on my texas bucket list that I almost skipped, but I'm so glad I didn't. I wanted to go to one of the original chili game, so when I saw that it was 15 minutes away from my hotel, I made it my last dinner goal. the menu is much more than chili, but I was on a mission to taste both of their standard dishes. I have a cup of red, sans chopped wobble and a cup chile verde. the red has a really good mild basic taste that I could eat several times, but also at home for my own family tweak. If I get it back to grapevine, I get the 5 alert. the chile verde is similar to the type I had in el paso very brothy. the diceed pork was very humid the fenced green chiles, tomatillos, and other objects were tasteful. it would be a great breakfast dish with some flair tortillas. the queso rojo was pretty good. it is her Queso-Dip with a draw red in it. the service was fast efficient, the decor was pleasant, what I expected, and the people were really friendly. if they are near grapevine, they make tolberts one of their meal destinations.
Fun lively place, good eating and nightly live music. the appetizer is a good opportunity to try the different selections. eselwege and torpedos are very tasty. most entrees come with two sides and reasonable price. good beer selection, they go perfectly with eating. our server was very friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. in any case will visit again when I am in the city
I scanned the chili. the 6 ounce sirloin with asparagus spears and kartoffels excellent! I loved my window seat! this place should be on their planned stops when they visit grapevine, Texas.
Want to share this with the owner of Tolbert's. Me and my wife have visited Tolbert's about 6 times since last June and every visit was wonderful. Want to give a great shout out to Kim. She's a great server and it shows. Very polite, very professional and has a wonderful personality as well. Because of this we will be dining there again soon. Because we with First Baptist church of Grapevine my fellow church goers have told us about your Restaurant. Hope everyone who visits Tolbert's has a very good time there just like we did. Thanks. A thank you to Kim.
