Pound cake looked good but was a bit on the dry side. The cold brew had a nice flavor and great for a hot day. Friendly staff and the gal playing guitar and singing. Could’ve listened to her all day. View all feedback.
What Elissa Polley doesn't like about Brew Batter:
Saw this online and wanted to try out. Cute space and nice outdoor seating. Prices were high for quality and quantity of food. Coffee had grounds in it and one waffle which was GF was dry and other was chewy. It may have been off day, but not a great experience. View all feedback.
**Dietary restrictions:** I have a dairy allergy, so vegan options are my safe choice when traveling. These waffles were not only safe for me but also worth the trip—whether you have dietary restrictions or not.
Terrible experience and won’t be back. After walking in, the two ladies behind the counter were immediately rude since it was our first time and didn’t already know what we wanted to order. Then while waiting, we decided to wait outside since we have young kids and the ladies looked very annoyed that we had them inside. My kids were playing in the rocks outside and sat some on the table. I always clean our space and leave it the way we found it, so I let them enjoy themselves. They have tiny hands so tiny amount of rocks. The lady brought out the waffles and scolded my kids and me for them playing and told them to not put rocks on the table. I said I understood and was going to ensure it was clean. (I did in fact clean it better than it was when we sat down). She gave me a very nasty look and walked off. These ladies obviously don’t care for families and young kids.I would have left it at that, but then we tried the waffles and they are the worst waffles we have ever had. Overly dry, hard and bland. Even my kids, who will eat anything covered in fruit and sugar, wouldn’t touch them. My coffee had a very metallic and weird, nasty aftertaste. I threw everything away and left. We are grapevine locals and will never be back. Stick to Redefined. Redefined is friendly, welcoming and delicious.
I saw this on the Fort Worth Bucketlist (which is a great resource) and I was super excited to get over there! There's ample parking and the building is great! The staff are friendly, but the food was not great. The waffles were chewy and the tacos were pre made, lukewarm and very underwhelming for what they cost. The coffee prices are confusing, and the coffee too was also warm, not hot.Has great potential I'm hoping that I just went on what was a bad day for them (Sunday)
I came across this restaurant online and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is charming, and the outdoor seating is quite pleasant. However, I found the prices to be quite high considering the quality and quantity of the food. My coffee had grounds in it, and while one of the gluten-free waffles was dry, the other was too chewy. It might have just been an off day, but overall, it wasn't a great experience.
I dined at this restaurant two weeks ago, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and charming. I chose the breakfast waffle with Jalapeno Cilantro Crema on the side. Although I'm sensitive to spice, I found it to be just the right amount of heat for me to enjoy. My friend ordered the Gluten-Free/Vegan Peanut Butter Banana waffle, and she absolutely loved it! My iced chai tea latte with vanilla was so delicious that it disappeared quickly! Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten-free options.
