Overall it was pretty good, the hot links were kinda over cooked but the rest of the meat were good. The Pinto and Bake Beans could?ve been seasonedmore, just my opinion. Great Job!

You get a good portion of food for the price. The workers were polite and checked on our table to see if we needed refillson drinks. I had a good experience with Bartley?s, you should definitely go try the food. I live in North Carolina and I?ll sayour sweet tea is better????!

I ordered a 2 meat plate, which came with slices of... read more This was my very first time visiting this restaurant and I can tell you that the food was not disappointing! I ordered a 2 meat plate, which came with slices of smoked sausages and ribs. You 'll see from the photos that the dishes, on the whole, werepretty tasty. The ribs were incredibly soft, indicating that the cooks at this restaurant know how to cook ribs! I 'm fairlycertain they cooked those ribs to death, because they were falling off the bone, and the bones were tasty, too! LOL Theturnip greens were a bit interesting, though. That 's the best way I can describe them. I feel like they had a bit of a smoky taste to them, which was something I did not expect to taste whilst eating turnip greens. I 'm not sure how theyaccomplished that... It 's not that they were nasty, but they just had that smokey taste, which resulted in the turnip greenshaving a bit of an aftertaste. Nevertheless, I still ate them all! I also had a piece of jalapeno cornbread, that had a bit ofa kick to it because of the jalapeno peppers, yet it was sweet at the same time. Another interesting choice! : The corn wasbasic whole kernel corn, and there 's nothing special to write about it. I also want to say that when we arrived there, to getour food to go, they were closing up. But I appreciate the fact that they did not lock their doors early nor did they rush usout of the restaurant. We had adequate time to order our food and they even allowed me to sample a couple of things beforemaking a decision. Furthermore, the entirety of the staff were fabulous! Everyone working at that place, near closing time,was all smiles and giggles, and they cracked jokes and they were fun to be around! It 's definitely a place you should visitsometime in the near future. I 'm confident that you will not be disappointed.

But, they put bacon on when my son and I specified none...he eats Kosher and then week ago I ordered Tuesday special...barbecue sandwich with stuffed baked potatoe and got pictured in first pic...called and, already in pjs, droveback...given another potato, 2nd pic. I spoke to Jacob then and then Shane, owner, next day ...when I called to order next day,Jacob was very rude and defensive. I didn't go back. Sad because it used to be great experience.

My son has a food allergy to Mustard and they helped make sure he could eat what he wanted. The food was good and big portions. We had never had smoked Bologna and we allloved it! Will definitely be back again if we come back to the area! Maybe even before we leave! ????
