The Toasted Pickle Grand Haven

After we spent over $100 and waited over an HOUR on a slow night for our food some very large, rude woman came to our table and said umm you can 't eat here just so you know we are closed now so basically get out. Meanwhile there were a few girls that knew the cashier who were in line right in front of us- they got to eat their entire meal inside and finish long before we even had our food. There was also a very spastic older gentlemen that worked there who was buzzing around and acting like the patrons were an inconvenience to him. One lady came in at 7:45 and wanted to order a salad- he scoffed at her and said ugh done just one more like she was the most annoying person on the planet. Being that are out of town we had to eat our food outside in 40 degree weather on the sidewalk. We will not be back here because the service is absolutely awful.

Vegan option is just plain veggies on bread. Same as the other review, menu says to ask about vegan option and I just got blank stares.

One sandwich is vegan it’s pretty boring…just veggies on bread. Their menu says to ask about other options but they don’t actually have anything else to offer. Fries are cooked in the same oil as meat.

Stopped at Oddside Ales for a beer, and decided we also wanted dinner. Oddside partners with a number of local restaurants who will deliver food right to your table in the Oddside brewpub. We opted for The Toasted Pickle, given the number of vegan/vegetarian options and it did NOT disappoint!! I had the Smart Alec which was like a salad on bread the whole grain bread was incredibly fresh. Everything was wonderful!!!

I have decided to try good things on websites of this place. He had the Italian with the hot honey waffleries and I had the blackjack, turkey set, with the truffle friars. Everything was hot, fresh and so tasteful. 100% get a lemonade. Probably some of the best I had. I chose the lavender limonade and it was the pomegranate and both were delicious. I just wish I had room for a milkshake, but the whole food filled me up. I'm glad I can park, eat here, go shopping right away. Everything is in 1 location
