Excellent food, very clean facility, and polite people. The beef brisket was some of the best I've ever had. I want to return to try the Laki Bowl (available M-F for lunch and supper). They have a very nice POW/MIA table here too. View all feedback.
What Sonya Lehner doesn't like about Airey Dining Facility:
Wasnt the food that I remember when I was active duty... but, i do know Covid has a small part here too. Overall for the price it was good. Selections were limited and weird but NOBODY was in there eating. Not the same Air Force as it was 20 years ago. Sad... they do lots of hard work to provide those meals... View all feedback.
One of the best military restaurants I was. Really love how they have the price right in front for each item.
Better DFACs than most bases out there. The seasonal cafe thing is always a good option
The portion size you get when you re on food card is terrible.
Was an airman in the dormitories until 2019, and it was all right then (3-4 stars worthy). I went tonight (Oct 30 2021) because I forgot my lunch in the night shift. The selection looked like they were thrown together on the left and they were not cooked very well. I've got a haschbrown, rice and a ovarian. The hashbrown was soggy and fell apart, the rice tasted like straight Cilantro I like, but not when it tastes like I eat it out of the trunk. Next, the egg cubes I only got because they don't sell burgers at midnight Chow more (more later), was dry and urgently needed larger portion sizes. If I can get a better and bigger egg while using, there's something wrong. What about the selection? Burgers use to be served at midnight Chow, and honestly, what I remember, they were the best things on the menu, why take them away. Midnights-Chow is in the time frame of lunch for night shifters, why not serve more than a not breakfast escape. I paid for my meal tonight (not living in dorms). If I had served this in a restaurant, I would have asked for my money. If someone actually looks at it, they can think Cool, its a DFAC, the food is 't will be big, but if I would pay 10 dollars per meal as people are on the meal card (if they eat 3 meals a day), I would be outraged.
