The c... read more What a delightful, old-fashioned café! It took me back to my childhood when we used to visit similar places. The burgers, fries, and chips were fantastic! The cakes and pastries looked amazing, but we were too full to indulge. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. And the coffee was excellent!

However, the woman who took our order was somewhat snarky and a bit rude. She embodied the stereotype of a cranky waitress you might find in a roadside café, but that's not what the Nutshell is meant to be. It aims to be a quaint and charming restaurant. While it didn’t ruin my experience or make me want to leave, it was a little off-putting.
