My husband and I put a order on grub hub. We made a mistake and we thought it was for delivery but we didn't realize it was for pickup until we had already placed the order. We called the restaurant to find out if it was for pickup or delivery. We talked to a lady name Kristy is who we talked to we told the situation and wanted to know if it was for pick up or delivery. She said she didn't know. She was very rude to us. We told her to cancel the order. We asked her how do we get a refund she said thur grub. This women Kristy is very rude. And in my opinion lazy cause she basically refused to find out anything about our order. Very poor customer service.
The Square Cafe? 42 years it was the Nutshell. The new owners changed the name to the Square Café. Google brought us to the place. We were looking for direction to the shell, as shown in our exploration on maps. The staff was friendly. The food was home cooking! It was very delicious! The story is so interesting. Sit for a while and ask. The pictures tell the story of food.
This restaurant offers outstanding value for the price. While there’s an all-you-can-eat option, we opted for a few of their meals and enjoyed every single bite. I appreciate the comfortable atmosphere and the friendly staff, who are dedicated to providing a great experience. I’m definitely coming back to Granbury, and I must say, your cinnamon toast is absolutely delicious!
My mom and I stopped eating here before we went back to Houston. It's such a great little place to get a bite. The menu is very simple, but the sandwiches are large and hearty. You're also very nice. We were very happy that we found this place before we left the city.
The food was excellent, and the ambiance had a charming rustic feel, which I really liked. The service was quick, too. However, the woman who took our order was somewhat snarky and a bit rude. She embodied the stereotype of a cranky waitress you might find in a roadside café, but that's not what the Nutshell is meant to be. It aims to be a quaint and charming restaurant. While it didn’t ruin my experience or make me want to leave, it was a little off-putting.
