So, we went down o... read more Our hotel recommended a couple of streets in Granada for a light tapas lunch. The first street was so tacky and touristy it put us right off. So, we went down one street, came across La Platea which looked very smart but completely empty. We decided to give it a try anyway as it was much nicer than everywhere else we'd seen and we were so glad that we did. The tapas were absolutely delicious and the presentation was first class. Our favourite was the caramelised foie gras on glass bread but everything was absolutely beautiful including the prettiest dessert. If we were to go back to Granada this would definitely be worth a return visit!

Spotlessly clean, great service, an extensive bar and not only do they have Hendricks Gin but know how to serve it. Then there is the food. A very good menu with lots of choice. I went for a steak which was not only enormous but so tender and perfectly cooked. My lunch guest had a fish dish which looked superb and they said it was just perfect. If you are in Granada and want a quality meal then try La Platea and you will be pleased.
