The food itself came quickly, but if I have to wait 20 minutes for a waiter to notice my wallet on the table and I want to pay, while I'm one of six guests, I'm not going to applaud it.

Booking was a little d... read more This restaurant is in the heart of historic Grado, one of two restaurants in a pretty square. Lovely place to dine with buzzy atmosphere. Booking was a little difficult as they don’t speak English (our fault for being bad at languages, not theirs) but we managed it in the end. Food was good although service was a little slow, it was a busy evening and looked as if they only had two people front of house however both were friendly enough. We enjoyed our meal and felt the final bill was very good value.

But the large beer is only 0.4 liter and they only poured 0.35. The glass of wine was small too and too cold. We also had to pay a cover charge of €2.50 pp without getting any water bread or anything. I would think that you can find a place that cares more for customers than this place, especially given the number of restaurants in Grado.
