Taverna Al Canevon - Grado

I had been to Al Canevon a few years ago. It wasn't a wonderful experience. However, often, it's good to give a place a second chance. I'm so glad I did. Apart from my favourite restaurant in Grado (obviously not to be mentioned here), I...tend to rate all the others on how well they do Spaghetti alle Vongole and on their grilled fish. This was a lunchtime so it was a one course with pasta and clams. They were excellent. Definitely the best I have tasted in Grado both in quality and quantity. These were not just more shells than clams (quite a usual experience) .. the dish was served in an oval copper dish and was full of clams. We sat outside in the old part of town facing stone stairs alive with geraniums and colourful flowers. We will return in October.

The family-run restaurant with seating in the front, in the inside and in the courtyard. bad service tips when dove poop my hemd beat while sitting in the inn. restaurent offered one move to another table. nothing else. as the payment for tablecloth. was rejected restaurent manager was very rude and not welcome return. after switching from table waite offered earlier seats for new customers and accident was repeated within 15min. incredible customer service strategy!

We were there to eat, the waitress was so rude. When you talk to her, she looks like she doesn't understand anything, but she misses all kindness. there is no wine card! eating is average, but be careful that they mislead with the trips. For...more seafood risotto 16€ for 2 people means 32€ on the bill. service fee 2.5€, but they forget to say per person. the same price for a child. I do not recommend the place.

While eating is good, the service is the most unfriendly imaginable. we felt totally unwilling. a charming, unfriendly place instead try savial. they have great food and great staff.
