Campanile Bordeaux Le Lac - Gradignan

The hotel is a bit old and the cleanning could be better. The rooms are not particulary good. However, my bad rating comes from the service. I spend there 5 nights and during my stay I was without power supply in my room for about 24 hours. No one from the hotel approached me to say something or give some explanation. After that long time without electricity, I went to the receptionist to ask. I couldn't charge my electronic devices and needed to work on the computer. The only solution they gave me was to use one of the couches of the lobby as my office. When I suggested to move to a different room, they were not kin to that. Fortunately, the personnel fixed the problem moments later. I gave 2* because the breakfast was decent.

Comfortable enough rooms ,providing shampoo/bodywash hand soap ,few sachets of tea and coffee and a few cups.Including a hair dryer and kettle. However I 've had €80 stolen by a cleaner/maid.It was at the bottom of my bag ,they had a good rummage to find it nothing else was stolen.Talked to the front desk,they checked the security logs on the doors ,last person in was the cleaner.The receptionist couldn 't confirm whether they were lying ,and to stay biased of the situation (which is good I guess also said he couldn 't confirm whether I was lying or not . Still no money back,very disappointed as I left a do not disturb tag on the door and rolled down the shutters with the lights off.I left for no more than 2 hours. TL;DR: Don 't leave anything remotely valuable in the room as the cleaners are likely to steal it ,and very unlikely to get compensated for it.

The exterior of this place is not particularly pleasant. However, reception man (maxime) was extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was on the first floor and we were somewhat sceptical as it looked very easy at first glance what it was, but it was warm, cozy and extremely clean. Even the boiler had been decalcified. The bathroom was perfect. Lots of light and good size. The bed was amazing. So comfortable and large and good bed linen has been provided. We had a great night. Would you stay here if we were in the area?

Beautiful breakfast spread. evening elections were a bit limited, but overall a good experience

Staff super friendly, rooms pretty ok, food at the restaurant is pretty good as well, breakfast is almost perfect. It’s all you are waiting from a Campanile to be honest
