Having read all the rave reviews and listened to a number of friends extolling the wonders of this place, I was really looking forward to my first visit which was a set lunch with a group of friends. Maybe it's me but I found the...food to be pretty average...tasty and home made and all that but really nothing to get me hooked on the place and trying to book again weeks ahead because of it's popularity ! The set lunch is good value at just under 15 euros and the menu choice is limited understandably due the small number of tables....it reminded me of a number of similar French eateries offering home made fare and served by the owners...these sort of places are getting rarer it is fair to say but I found the meal to be quite ordinary and will wait and see whether eating there one evening a la carte makes a difference ? Watch this space....
Was a complete surprise, lovely food, good choices, good service cannot fault it. We had the house wine which was lovely.
I hardly dare share this little gem for fear of not being able to book a table in the future, it is becoming very popular. We took friends there this week and had to choose 3 dates before we were able to go there, but...it was well worth it. We have eaten in many local restaurants in the last 13 years but this is our favourite.

Has the origin of everything, the producers sorted on the part. enthusiasts who come back to the fundamentals, from organic culture, to traditional farming, to the constant search for perfection, the taste of taste is back in quercy. but who will accommodate these products so valuable to our palate ends, who will sublimate them? Jean-Pierre costes, the leader, unbridled, humble, talented, experienced. he fell small in the pot of the goujounac hospital, held at the time by his parents. ah, the unforgetable marthe has put us a genius of the kitchen, Jean-Pierre... he realizes a sumptuous refined cuisine, affordable to everyone with a lunchtime meal to make jealousy, the soup merchants. and in the evening, a la carte menu, the quintessence of talent, to breathe. Words are no longer enough to express the mouth's ravishing. jocelyne, his gente wife at the service, watches the harmony of the room and brings in the kitchen, very quickly, the praiseworthy words of the delightful guests. Thank you, jocelyne, thank you, master.
