We were spontaneously visiting Hahnenklee on a weekend trip with our bikers and were looking for somewhere to stop for dinner, so we couldn't make a reservation... read more We were spontaneously visiting Hahnenklee on a weekend trip with our bikers and were looking for somewhere to stop for dinner, so we couldn't make a reservation. Nevertheless, they managed to get us a table for our small group. The service was very friendly and accommodating; the chef himself brought the delicious dishes to the table and was open to friendly conversation. The food was plentiful and delicious. We would happily recommend this restaurant, but if possible, pre-order to ensure you get a free table, even if they try very hard to find a spot.

We decided to share a portion of gyro with rice and fries to take out. There was nothing we could do over the phone, which I can understand if it's busy. So we went there from the apartment. A quick look at the menu was our first shock. €6 more in four years—you have to be able to afford that. Back at the apartment, I was disappointed. The portion was so manageable. A shame for the price. The meat was good, the fries weren't salted enough (a matter of taste), and the rice had no flavor. I've seen better. What a shame, I'm disappointed. (This is my personal impression! Freedom of expression. Unfortunately, I have to mention this, otherwise I'll get banned for defamation again)
