The restaurant we planned to eat in was closed so looking for a plan B we discovered Matau. The welcome was courteous and friendly. The menu leans towards fish, some raw but that was OK. After we ordered we were offered an amuse bouche of gazpacho with tuna, it was fresh and delicious. What Bev T doesn't like about Matau:
Looks very pretty welcoming and we had had coffee here. We went for dinner ordered steak Salmon both were raw cold the vegetables at€6 were described as roasted cremated is a better description. My husband asked for another dish as he could not eat the raw steak the veal arrived looked very unappetising a tasteless very fatty peace of meat in gravy. Locale raffinato ed elegante. Staff gentilissimi e molto disponibili. Il cibo ..... che dire una delizia per gli occhi ma soprattutto per il palato. Da non sottovalutare l'ottima cucina anche per celiaci. Esperienza da ripetere lo consiglio a tutti.

5 stelle obbligatorie, per una serie di ragioni. Prima fra tutte: l'estetica del locale, è bellissimo, diverso dai soliti locali, l'ho notato non appena sono arrivata in città in auto. Seconda: la cordialità, gentilezza ed educazione dei camerieri, mai incontrato uno staff così educato ed attento al cliente. I prezzi sono nella norma, oserei dire anche economici paragonati agli altri locali del posto.
Ottimo posto dove passare le serate: luogo tranquillo, bevute buonissime e staff eccezionale, raccomando a pieno questo locale!
L'antipasto e il primo favolosi , costi giusti e camerieri e titolari di una gentilezza incredibile.
