In honor of my visit to Athens Greece, my favorite restaurant in Australia. The food is delicious, the portions big and I've been here for many years. The place is popular among locals, always crowded and you need to book in advance to get a table. My favourite is the moussaka, Greek salad followed by lamb shafts divided between two people. Nice setting and upstairs certainly is a great spot for a drink when the weather is nice (it’s all open). Service was good and Hellenika is worth a visit just for the crispy pork! Grilled octopus major let down, we didn’t finish it. It was slimy and chewy and had no grilled flavour. Little pricey for what is delivered but there isn’t much competition in the area for Greek food. View all feedback.
We dined here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The Greek Giasto red wine was divine as we nibbles on olives. We were provided with complimentary fish and lemon soup which tasted so good. The service was friendly and efficient. For mains we had lamb ribs, braised beef pasta and peas broad beans which was a nice hearty meal. After finishing our meals, we were able to finish our wines on the rooftop. I would come here time and time again in a heartbeat. Even the toilets had an amazing jasmine scent.
Incredible food, atmosphere and great service. The menu delivers on outstanding Greek food of the highest quality. Third visit and very consistent experience. 5 stars
