I had the mixed veg pakora for starters and the dal makhani (vegetarian) for mains, with chapati as a side. All were really tasty and the portions were large and good value for money. Excellent service too and a nice ambiance. View all feedback.
What sazdgl doesn't like about Bombay Street:
Erm, loads of food. Naan, rice and popadom lovely. Rice good. Curry nooooooooo! What a shame. Ordered the madras ok. Hydrabadi was tasteless and the Jalfrezzi very fruity. Really poor. May be an off night but my word View all feedback.
Can't rate this place highly enough. Nice location, quirky decor. Friendly staff and great value me and my friend had a beer each, poppadoms, 2 naans, a rice (one portion is enough for 2 people) and a curry (again, really generous portion size) for about £45 total. I had the Bengali lamb and my friend had the chicken madras both delicious, thank you.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. We had a wonderful meal in a full and cozy restaurant. The service was good and relaxed

Seemed popular and was lucky to get a seat on a thursday however extremely limited menu and struggled to choose when they did not have my choice of starter in stock. Also expect at most Indians around the world I dine in to have some basic Indian beers in stock such as kingfisher and Cobra. Even if I have to pay extra over local beers it adds to the dining experience. However, food is presented well and service is quick
