I had lunch at this restaurant on a Saturday and there was only one other customer. The decor was decent, but the table covered in a plastic tablecloth was sticky, as well as the chairs.
I prefer dining at family-style restaurants and diners, but this establishment does not fit that description.
I have had breakfast at this place many times. Be sure to bring cash as they only accept that form of payment. It offers good value for your money, with fast service and friendly staff.
We enjoyed a full and very reasonable breakfast here recently. It's hard to find a place that includes coffee in the price of a breakfast special but Skippers does and gives you one free refill. The service was friendly and attentive.
We almost opted for a Subway because we were short of time, but Skippers proved to be quick and much more interesting. The perch was light and perfectly cooked with very nice sides of fries and slaw. Service was excellent, a comfortable table - quiet, clean and pleasant in the afternoon. A nice surprise!
