This time we enjoyed lun... read more We returned to Goderich this week to visit family. We enjoyed our visit to Paddy O'Neil's so much in May , we thought we would return . This time we enjoyed lunch on the patio. Again the food and service were both excellent. We certainly recommend a visit to Paddy's when you are in Goderich.

Steaks were cooked medium and we... read more I really hope our experience was not the norm for this restaurant. We ordered two steak and shrimp, steaks ordered medium rare. Steaks were cooked medium and well done, shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. Vegetables were cold. The only good thing was the sweet potato fries and cesear salad and beer. It eas clear from all the left over food we were not happy and they offered to cook us new steaks and shrimp but we didn't have the time to wait and figured the cook didn't suddenly learn how to cook good food. We got 10 percent off our bill and free sweet potato fries. This was an expensive salad and fries. We won't be back. Again I hope this is not the norm for this restaurant. ?

Neither one of us couldn't finish it and we didn't eat anything all day, so it speaks volumes. Service was ok for only 2 guys actually serving all the tables. A place is run down and could use some serious updates.
