Too bad they didn’t have a patio and we were left sitting on the window silt outside as we were savouring the delicious pastries and drinking our coffee, as we had our dog with us. Other than that, the food and the service are great! View all feedback.
What Bonnie Ash dislikes about Cait's Cafe:
The food was tasty, but the prices were way too high for a rural Ontario setting. I paid $25.00 before tip for just a smoked meat sandwich, without any fries, salad, or other sides. I won't be returning. View all feedback.

Today, my colleagues and I ordered lunch from Culbert's Bakery. We received a platter of delicious sandwiches and enjoyed some amazing butternut squash soup. Everything was perfect, a definite 10/10. Thank you!
One time visit is enough. Pricey, $39 for 2 grilled cheese, latte hot chocolate. Front end needs to be updated. Been there, done that.
The BEST croissant sandwich I have ever had!!! I ordered the breakfast one and it was so buttery, flaky and delicious!! I cannot wait to visit Goderich again. :

My wife and I were in need of a tea and coffee walking the Goderich square. Stepped into Cait’s and loved it right away. The atmosphere a coffee shop should have. I ordered an Americano and my wife had Earl Grey tea, loose leaf, not in a bag. Both delicious. Very friendly staff too!

Good coffee. my man had a nice croissant, I had a gigantic cookie, gluten-free. a great little caffe in goderich. I will return.
We went to a recommendation and were very happy. we arrived shortly before closing, but chose paninis and were not disappointed. we were not meant to feel as if it were too much annoyed as if they would close soon. that was waiting... fast, but we could see that they are freshly prepared and cooked. we also had some of the limonade that was also delicious. the paninis were perfectly cooked, not greasy, and they didn't blow up at all. I would recommend to everyone!
Long lineups are in the rule a good sign and they can observe how employees interact with customers. I thought. until the owner came to me. then there was a significant change in the voice and the body language that he suddenly animated, smiling. and excited to lean against equipment, impatient and frowning. he never seemed to look at me (except later when I waited for my coffee, a clearer look of inadequacy when he thought I would not look). he seemed angry, even with my courtesy answer and thanks. Zero courtesy, zero recognition that the person was in front of him. When I asked myself what the difference was, I realized that I was the only one in the load carrying a mask. determined to go back and try again a few hours later. in another long lineup the same happened again, but even more pronounced. heck, the kerl behind me with the national rifle association hemd (complete with a thread cross) has a smile need, I'm looking for more wise? I wear a mask from my own ground, including trying to protect vulnerable people that I came to goderich to visit. I'm not gonna stop, and I can always find somewhere else for coffee. Truly, the coffee is good, not fantastic; and the croissant was good when overcooked and a bit too fat. certainly not good enough to bring me back for more.
A week in our road trip and under the cup water coffee in toronto, niagara in case and niagara at the lake suffered, it was pure joy to have a tasty, well made flat white here. not only that, but if there was a category for...best road travel muffins, then this would be up there, all baked on the ground and served with a smile
