Here is what... read more Reviews for this place are mixed. I ordered from the takeaway and then ordered again seven days later to check the accuracy of my first impression. Here is what I found. Both times I ordered cod and chips. The cod was the best I have ever eaten: the batter was crispy and the fish inside was fresh and chunky. It was absolutely delicious. I was delighted. The chips, however, were a let down on both occasions. They were okay and better than most of the chips I have bought from fish and chip shops but they really let the superb fish down. In short they needed to be cooked for an extra 60 seconds and at a higher temperature and served piping hot. Portions were very generous. Next time I might throw away the chips and just pig out on the superb fish.

We ordered through Just Eat and when our order arrived, it was completely w... read more We have been loyal customers at Queens without any issues until new staff took over. We ordered through Just Eat and when our order arrived, it was completely wrong and some items were missing. When we called the restaurant, the man who answered was extremely unhelpful and rude, telling us to come and pick up the correct order. We had paid for delivery specifically so we wouldn't have to go out. We were shocked at how impolite the staff member was. We will definitely not be using their services again. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere.
