You shouldn't judge a restaurant by its appearance! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the staff were friendly. We ordered the lamb curry, beef vindaloo, and butter chicken, all with a spicy level. I would suggest medium spice if you're not used to heat. The standout dish was the lamb curry; the meat was tender with a subtle lamb flavor and the curry was perfectly balanced. The beef was cooked to perfection and the butter chicken sauce was absolutely delicious.

Bagan has the best Butter Chicken in Ottawa undoubtedly! The taste is so mouthwatering that you definitely got to visit them a second time and eventually make them your regular! To mention further, their BBQ wings is also very delicious when you're craving for your evening snack! And I also love their special tea made with cloves and cardamom!Customer service provided is exceptional and they will go the extra mile to keep you happy especially through customized meals as requested. When I get lazy for a visit, I use Ubereats and Doordash to order from them and my tummy becomes happy : 5/5 always!!
